Q: How old do I have to be to receive an online consultation?
A: You must be at least 18 years old.
Q: Why are your prices not immediately visible?
A: In order to comply with stringent UK laws, information regarding prescription medicine, including prices, may only be accessed once you have completed your free online consultation. Medical Prescriptions 2U are fully registered, licensed and practicing members of the RPSGB, GMC, MHRA and are duty bound to advise you that those websites which openly advertise prescription medicine prices, without the patient firstly completing the necessary online consultation procedure, are certainly infringing UK laws and will be under assessment resulting in the likelihood of heavy penalty fines imposed and website closure*. Once you have ordered following the necessary steps, you will then have direct access to this information for future online consultations.
*In addition please note should a direct request be made for prices and other information, we are then permitted to provide them.
Please note if you have any concerns about a website that is supplying medicines and the website is not operated by a registered pharmacy premises in Great Britain, please contact:

Q: Why are some internet sites selling prescription medicine so cheaply?
A: If their prices are dramatically cheaper than ours, then the likelihood is they are not supplying genuine licensed and branded pharmaceutical products. You will have no way of knowing exactly how or where their potentially harmful products have been manufactured and handled or even what chemicals they might contain or even if they have been exposed to any contamination. The resounding factor being, this is extremely dangerous as you would not only be taking chances with your health, but also your life.
Q: Are your doctors and pharmaceutical suppliers reputable?
A: Yes. All our licensed and fully qualified United Kingdom, UK, doctors are registered and regulated by the General Medical Council (GMC) http://www.gmc-uk.org in the UK and are authorised to write prescriptions for the medications we supply. The UK licensed and regulated pharmaceutical supplier that dispenses the medications for us is a fully registered member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) www.rpsgb.org and is also a registered member of the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. All parties in our professional process fully adhere and comply with strict standards of operation and codes of ethics, together with UK government regulations and laws. This unequivocally safeguards our operation and ensures that we only supply genuine branded medication from a regulated UK source and that only those who are suitable for the prescribed medicine will actually receive the goods.

Q: Do I need a prescription to obtain medicine from you?
A: Yes. In the United Kingdom, UK, it is illegal to offer prescription medicine for sale without a prescription. If a company is operating in this way, it is either operating illegally or is based outside the UK. We require that all our patients have an online Consultation with one of our fully qualified doctors, in order that our doctor can diagnose the condition and provide a prescription for the patient’s particular problem. Our licensed UK pharmacy supplier will require a valid prescription in order to dispense the patient’s medication.
Q: How do I obtain a prescription and receive my medication?
A: Our free online Consultation and necessary fulfilment process has to comply with stringent UK laws and therefore it must operate in a certain way. The process is user friendly, not complicated and a full, step-by-step description can be found in the section, How to Order.
Q: Do I need to have a further online consultation for a repeat prescription?
A: No. Once you have had an initial online Consultation and been approved for treatment, you will be able to request a repeat prescription very quickly, as we will already hold your strictly confidential details on record. At the time of requesting a repeat prescription, you will have the opportunity to review and update your delivery details and medical information, should any details have changed.
Q: How common is the purchase of medicines over the internet and are there any statistics?
A: Research by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RSPGB) reveals that over 2.25 million people buy prescription medicines online. With up to a third of the medicines purchased online estimated to be counterfeit, the internet can therefore present a real danger to your health. Medical Prescriptions 2U unequivocally safeguards your health and wellbeing by only supplying genuine branded medicines through our fully regulated, licensed and registerd doctors clinic and pharmacies. Please view Terms & Conditions details for our relevant association and registration with government bodies and departments.
Q: Should I consult with my own doctor about my treatment through you?
A: Yes. We would always advise you to consult your own doctor before commencing any course of medication. If at any stage of the online Consultation you have any questions relating to your health, we would advise you to consult with your own doctor regarding those questions, as they will be more familiar with your own personal medical history. If any medication is prescribed, then your prescription will be given to our pharmaceutical supplier in order to fulfil your prescription. All parties in the online Consultation and fulfilment process are required by law to keep records of your details for a period of time.
